This session is part of a series of webinars hosted by the Graduate Program in Applied Linguistics (LAEL), Pontifical Catholic University of Sao Paulo, Brazil. LAEL is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2020. This particular talk is our annual Antonieta Celani Distinguished Lecture, which celebrates the memory of Antonieta Celani, who introduced Applied Linguistics to Brazil. She founded LAEL in 1970.

Capacity is limited to 100 participants. Participants will be admitted to the Zoom room on a first-come-first-served basis. If the room is full, Zoom will not allow a registrant to enter.
